I. List of Underwater photographer duties:
  1. Providing system, vehicle, and component level mechanical design and engineering, to support the varied needs of Bluefin’s projects
  2. Working alongside software, electrical, and operational test engineers to develop AUVs
  3. Working collaboratively with Manufacturing staff, throughout the entire product development process
  4. Participating in  and leading design reviews and peer reviews
  5. Integrating COTS components into custom vehicle designs
  6. Creation of design documentation and test procedures
  7. Creation of drawings from which parts can be effectively manufactured
  8. Participation in assessment of incoming parts and products
II. List of Underwater photographer qualifications
  1. Minimum BS in Mechanical Engineering, with 5-12 years production-environment product design experience
  2. Experience working in a defined engineering process environment, including configuration control of schematics and models, use of approved parts list, design standards, and engineering change control processes
  3. High level of proficiency with SolidWorks and Workgroup PDM for production and control of models and drawings
  4. Experience with Design for Manufacturing and Design to Cost metrics and techniques
  5. Experience preparing rapid preliminary and concept level design work, as well as detailed design development work
