- Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, journalism or science. Advanced degree is preferred.
- Thorough understanding of technical and scientific content with a minimum of 3 years of sciencewriting experience.
- Proficiency in the written language (grammar, spelling, punctuation, audience sensitivity, language usage, AP style).
- A strong track record of placing stories in media outlets using newsgathering and storytelling skills across various media platforms. Requires a very high level of reporting and writing skills.
