- Responsible for all freepeople.com and freepeoplewholesale.com digital photography assets
- Strong digital photography, lighting, and compositional skills
- Research fresh lighting techniques and ideas, and be excited to try new arrangements
- Work with styling team to arrange and execute new background materials…colored seamless, etc.
- Striving to constantly refine and improve creative output
- We’ll be looking for dynamic personalities with experience engaging modeling talent. Being able to get models to open up for the camera will be of vital importance.
- The ability to handle a highvolume studio workflow and execute both editorial and lifestyle imagery under tight deadlines
- Working knowledge of Photoshop and Capture One Pro, Mac proficiency
- Familiarity and comfort level with Canon 5D is a plus
- Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours a day
- We’re excited to find someone willing to experiment with lighting/color/filters for special, nonproduct web shots
- Contacting clients for information
- Scheduling photoshoots and meetings
- Research magazines for photo submissions, opportunities, contests & promotions etc.
- Distribute marketing material via email/ social networks etc.
- Updating, organizing and filing contract documents, running errands
- Participate in meetings, photoshoots and other aspects of being a professional photographer.

- Bachelors degree preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Proactive problem solving, both technically and creatively
- 3+ years of digital studio photography experience in a commercial studio preferred
- A strong portfolio of print and online fashion photography should be provided in interviews to demonstrate experience in applied techniques.
- Someone who can inspire and be inspired by our team!
- Experience in a studio environment
- The ability to manage a photography team (assistant, digital tech photo coordinator)
- Looking for independent and productivityfocused candidates
- Willingness to work with web production team to optimize photography asset handoffs
- Understand costreduction principles and how to implement goals
- Possess skills at assessing issues, defining solutions, and implementing strategy
- Perform well in environment that values leadership, efficiency, dependability, and organization
- Intern must be proficient in MS Office programs, well organized, punctual & have access to a laptop, cell phone and transportation.
- Must have or be willing to travel
- Must have a valid passport
