I. List of Wildlife
photographer duties:
- Conducting onsite evaluations of potential wetland restoration projects and other habitat enhancement projects to increase function and value for resident fish and wildlife resources;
- Ranking sites for restoration, performing site surveys and designs, and obtaining the necessary permits;
- Partnering with State and Federal agencies, municipal governments, non-profit organizations, school districts, and watershed organizations to ensure delivery of quality habitat restoration projects;
- Representing the Fish and Wildlife Service at meetings with other agencies, private landowners, and the public;
- Preparing correspondence, reports, and outreach materials; and
- Presenting environmental education and other outreach presentations to the public
- Give outreach presentations to possible new participants/volunteers.
- Provide outreach at community events: sharing resources
- Assist in recruitment and establishment of new partners by networking with existing organizations.

- Outreach and/or education experience
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Publisher
- Quick learner; self-motivated; able to work alone or with a team
- Having a vehicle and personal computer, is helpful.
- A valid state driver's license is required.
- Occasional travel is required.
- Moving expenses (PCS) are not authorized.
- Current college student or recent graduate
- Applicants must be flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks
- Be able to commit approximately 16-20 hours a week to this internship
